BiereBeer — Barrel-Aged Triple

The triple from De Mortselarij has awakened from its winter slumber.

A TRIPEL in a can? Yep! Only at De Mortselarij… but don’t expect a regular Tripel.

This is not your typical, traditional Tripel. We gave it a twist with peppery hops and Saison yeast, creating a beer that’s crisp, dry, and beautifully aromatic.

Appearance: deep golden with a hazy, effervescent body and a creamy white head
Aroma: bright notes of spice, citrus, and subtle vanilla from the bourbon cask
Flavor: a delicate balance of peppery hops, fruity Saison character, and warming bourbon undertones; dry and refreshing, finishing with a lingering aromatic lift
ABV: 9%
Food pairing tip: roasted meats, sharp cheeses, or a winter dessert like apple tarte tatin
